Sandra Bullock is teaming with John Legend to produce a television show about her college years that will include music and dance.

Deadline reports the actress is working with Amazon and will executive produce the series with Legend and Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman. The show was written by K.C. Perry and is “loosely” based on Bullock’s life in college.

The show is described as “hilarious, boundary-crossing, and often soul-wrenching trek through the oppressive cultural norms of the deep south in the 1980s, where one darkly off-beat young woman defies expectations and sets out in search of love, community, and most importantly, an identity of her own.”

The show is set to incorporate dance and music along with “traversing the worlds of drag-culture, mental health, and the AIDS epidemic, all while following a group of young outcasts who band together and dare to be themselves, despite the very real danger they face in doing so.”

Sandra Bullock went to East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
