A former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant is suing Ryan Seacrest‘s production companies and Bravo claiming she appeared nude on an episode of “Shahs of Sunset” despite never giving permission to be filmed.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Kiara Belen claims she appeared in an episode of the hit Bravo show that aired July 30, 2017. The episode was centered around Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi participating as a runway model at an event during the 2016 Fall Los Angeles Fashion Week.
Belen claims she appeared in the episode twice and both instances were embarrassing for her.
In one scene, Belen claims she can be seen walking down the runway during the fashion show she was modeling in. During the scene, Belen says another cast member on the show refers to her as a “bitch.”
The other instance, Belen claims, showed her “while changing clothes in a private dressing area designated for the female models in the fashion show, with her nearly completely nude body completely exposed and being filmed.”
Belen claims at no point did she consent to be filmed and “broadcast to millions of viewers.”
She says she was “absolutely mortified” to learn she appeared in the show after being contacted by several friends who had seen it.
To make matters worse for Belen, she claims she was a few months pregnant at the time she was filmed and “was dealing with the challenge of her body changing as a result, leading to a period of great insecurity.”
Belen is suing Ryan Seacrest Productions, Ryan Seacrest Enterprises, and Bravo. She is seeking damages in excess of $100,000.
The Blast reached out to reps for Bravo and Ryan Seacrest Productions but they did not immediately respond.
