Roseanne Barr is becoming the master of her own domain by releasing a multitude of content without the big networks adding "spin" to her message.
The Blast spoke with Barr's son Jake, who is leading the charge on producing content for his famous mom. Jake says they've been working on a series of interviews that give Roseanne the chance to "control the message without the media spin."
Some of the interviews have been with Barr's close friends, and provide explanation and context regarding her infamous Valerie Jarrett tweet. In the first clip released, Roseanne screams in frustration as she reiterates that she did not know Jarrett was African-American.
Jake says the videos will be populated on his mom's YouTube page, but stresses that it is definitely not a talk show.
He says it's actually going to be a variety of content, ranging from Roseanne's inner thoughts, conversations with friends and family and even a glimpse at her daily life, including future projects.
We're also told Roseanne will use the channel as a chance to interact with her fans and provide messages straight from the source, instead of being filtered through the Hollywood machine.
Jake says the reception to the preview clip has been great, and they're excited to get to work.
