Ron Perlman has been going strong since the 1980s, but his star has only more recently gained traction through roles on the TV series "Sons Of Anarchy" and in the movie Hellboy.
Here's a list of his most memorable appearances.
Perlman plays Hellboy, a demon-beast and superhero based off Dark Horse Comics mini-series, in the 2004 movie of the same name. In this scene from Hellboy 2, Perlman faces off with a superior, who says Hellboy's temper is the problem.

Perlman, in a 2013 video, spoke at a press event about his character, Clay Morrow, in FX' "Sons of Anarchy."
"There's a $ 5 million price on his head, and a lotta motherf--ers wanna collect on that," he says about Clay in Season 6.
Perlman played the caveman Amoukar in the 1981 sci-fi hit Quest For Fire. The movie has zero dialogue, but that didn't stop Perlman from putting in a strong performance, earning him a nomination for a Genie Award.
Wesley Snipes makes quick work of Perlman's nasty character in Blade II.
Perlman played the Beast and Linda Hamilton was Beauty in the CBS TV series of the same name, which ran from 1987 to 1990. TV Guide listed the show among its "25 Top Cult Shows Ever."
