Foxboro PD in Massachusetts responded to Gronk's home Monday night at 6:18 PM after he reported the burglary.
According to the emergency dispatch audio, obtained by The Blast, officials say they spoke with the New England Patriots star, who informed them the burglary happened while he was "away on his trip." They also say that the house was broken into, and "multiple safes, possible guns taken."
Investigators are currently conducting a "routine property crime investigation."
During a press conference Tuesday morning, the Foxboro Chief of Police said it was a tough combination "to have suffered an unfortunate loss in the Super Bowl and then suffer this personal loss."
