Her relationship with her onscreen "Riverdale" co-star, Cole Sprouse, made headlines when they took their chemistry offscreen in 2017. The couple, who has been off and on for several years, reportedly broke up for the second time last month. According to Page Six, Lili Reinhart and Cole Spouse, who play Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones on the show, split in May, just eight months after reuniting following their first breakup. A source confirmed their split, telling the outlet the two were quarantining separately.

“Cole and Lili split before the pandemic hit, and have been quarantining separately," the insider told Page Six. "They remain good friends.” Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse's breakup confirmation came after their "Riverdale" co-star Skeet Ulrich's girlfriend, Megan Blake Irwin, alluded that their relationship was over on Instagram Live. When someone asked Ulrich, "Do you think that Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart are a cute couple?” She responded, “They were a very cute couple,” while many pointed out she emphasized the word "were."

“They’re both beautiful people,” she added. This wasn't the first breakup rumors the duo had faced. After reports circulated about a split last year, Lili Reinhart took to social media to crush any speculation. "Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, kids. And news sources should try a little harder to be less vile. ‘Reliable sources’ can kiss my ass," she posted on Twitter. This is the first time that the actress has opened up about her sexuality and she's being welcomed in the LGBTQ community with open arms.
