Rihanna is throwing some subtle shade J Lo's way while describing why she chose to decline the Super Bowl LV halftime offer.

Speaking to Vogue in their November spread, the Fenty Beauty founder was asked if she turned down the halftime show in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick, to which she responded, "Absolutely!"

“I couldn’t dare do that,” she stated. “For what? Who gains from that? Not my people."

"I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler," Rihanna continued. "There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way.”

It was revealed last month that J Lo and Shakira would co-headline the February 7, 2019 show.

Interestingly enough, while Rihanna won't go near Super Bowl LV, her mentor and Roc Nation record label founder Jay-Z is all in.

Earlier this summer, Hova inked a deal with the NFL to oversee the league's endeavors in entertainment and social justice.

The rapper claimed he spoke with Kaepernick before signing his John Hancock, but the former NFL star's camp said that wasn't true.

Kaepernick took a shot at Jay-Z by tweeting out support to his longtime friend, Eric Reid, who slammed the rapper for "burying Colin's career" by forming the partnership.

"Jay-Z NEVER took a knee," Reid tweeted. "He sacrificed NOTHING. In truth, he is actually capitalizing off of Kaepernick’s loss."

Kaepernick retweeted Reid's statement and added praise to his friend, writing, "You never turned your back on me or the people, even when the nfl tried to silence your voice & the movement."

The halftime smack talk wasn't the only quotable moment from Rihanna's Vogue interview.

She also called Donald Trump "the most mentally ill human being in America right now" and awkwardly addressed those pregnancy rumors.

If her video was supposed to make fans believe she's not pregnant, she failed miserably.
