Ricky Gervais Says Tide Pods Are for Bathing, Not Eating!!!

Ricky Gervais is genuinely perplexed about the Tide Pod Challenge, and for good reason, because it's really dumb.
The "Child Support" star was in NYC talking about the unfortunately popular internet craze of kids filming themselves biting into laundry detergent pods and posting on social media. Watching Gervais process and understand the disturbing fad is pretty great.
He also shares a hysterical laundry detergent story from his younger years, which thankfully didn't involve ingesting any chemicals.
Gervais currently stars on ABC's "Child Support" hosted by Fred Savage. The game show, which airs Fridays at 8PM/7c, teams up contestants with a group of intelligent and funny kids. Thankfully, these kids are way too smart to eat any Tide Pods.
