Rickey Smiley's Daughter Shot In Road Rage Incident, Shares Photo Of Bloody Aftermath

By Ryan Naumann

Rickey Smiley’s daughter Aaryn is recovering after being shot during a road rage incident in Atlanta.

According to reports, over the weekend, Aaryn was driving to get food at a Whataburger and was shot while in her vehicle. Police confirmed three men and a woman were injured after a person opened fire at an intersection. Officials believe the shooting was the result of an argument between the men.

Aaryn was not involved with the men and was sitting in a separate vehicle when she was struck by a stray bullet. The suspected gunman drove off and has not been located by police.

Following the incident, Rickey told his followers, “My youngest daughter was shot last night. I’m just so angry right now.” He said Aaryn was going to be fine and he was headed to be with her.

Aaryn shared a photo of her bloody car writing, “this is the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me. I won’t be out of the hospital for a while nor will I be able to walk for a while due to nerve damage. I’m so sorry if I can’t respond to everyone but please know I’m thankful for all the messages.”

She continued, “the fact that the bullets that went thru my legs were armored riffle bullets made it go through anything (how they got though the car) but the one that would have hit me in the head was not that kind and ended up lodged in the car. God. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to be alive right now.”

Rickey’s daughter ended, “scariest part of all of this is the fact that I’m alone. They won’t let me see my parents or let anyone come in because of Covid. I’m terrified.”

Rickey spoke to ET saying Aaryn underwent surgery after the shooting and is on the mend.
