Rich Homie Quan Gives Son His Last Name, Officially Recognized as Father

Rich Homie Quan is making sure to keep Quans around for generations to come because he has made sure his 4-year-old son will carry his namesake.
On September 6, Quan – real name Dequantes Lamar – filed legal docs with the consent of his girlfriend and baby mama, Amber Williams, for legitimation and custody of their 4-year-old son Royal.
Rich Homie Quan says his son lived with his mother between 2014 and 2015, but since then has lived with them both in the same Georgia home.
The "Tell Em" rapper says he wants to legitimize his relationship with his son and legally be recognized as his father. He requested that his son's name of Royal Rich Williams be changed to Royal Rich Lamar, as well as joint legal and physical custody of the boy.
The docs note that he is not asking for the court to address the issue of child support.
Williams agreed to his request for a name change and for joint custody. She also says child support is not needed because she lives with Quan and they are in a relationship.
