Earlier this week, Ramona told People that her and daughter Avery, “both found out we have the antibodies, so we donated our plasma.” Ramona says she felt mild symptoms in February but didn’t get tested until recently. She cites the lack of information and available testing for her delay
She added, “I had no energy. I just wanted to stay in bed all day. I felt very tired, and I also had severe headaches.” Prior to the announcement, Ramona’s costar Leah McSweeney had been trashing her on social media for being reckless during the pandemic. She took issue with Ramona flying back and forth between New York and Florida when cases were rising.
Leah said, “I am so disgusted by some of my cast mates and their families who spent the entire fucking quarantine in Florida living it up. … showing everyone how they are living it up. Then, Florida of course there is a surge, they come back to New York, and are out like nothing, not quarantining, not taking this shit seriously. And basically, laughing in all of our faces.”
She ended, “Fuck you guys, how fucked up is it to think you can come back and reap the benefits of our hard work and possibly spread fucking Covid. that is despicable.”
It looks like Leah isn’t the only one bothered by Ramona’s action. Dorinda Medley and Luann de Lesseps both left shady comments on Page Six’s Instagram post about Ramona’s having Coronavirus antibodies.
The bad news didn’t stop there for Ramona with Leah sitting down for a podcast interview where she claimed her costar tried to get her fired. Leah said Ramona tried to convince producers to fire her after several drunken incidents this season.
Leah said she feels Ramona is jealous of her and believes that is why she wanted her gone.
