“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gina Kirschenheiter is battling her ex-husband Matthew Kirschenheiter over the $10,000 a month he pays in child support.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Gina is firing back at Matt’s recent demand she be ordered to sit for a deposition. He wants to grill her about her Bravo paychecks, other sources of income and the domestic violence allegations.

In newly filed documents, Gina says she has no issue sitting for a deposition or answering questions about her finances. Matt is attempting to slash the current $10k a month child support payment due to his decrease in income. He believes the reality star should pay him support because she’s raking in the dough.

Her motion states, “Petitioner will agree to be deposed as to any non-domestic violence issues which are presently pending.” Gina says once Matt’s pending criminal case is wrapped up, she has no problem being deposed about the topic. Gina wants the court to sanction Matt for bringing his motion to compel.

Back in 2018, Gina filed for divorce from Matt following eight years of marriage. She listed the date of marriage as May 15, 2010 and the separation date as March 3, 2018. The two share three minor children.

The two unsuccessfully tried to reconcile numerous times during the divorce. After the petition was filed, Matt was arrested for domestic violence relating to an incident with Gina. He was charged with felony “corporal injury – on spouse/cohabitant” and felony “False imprisonment effected by violence, menace, fraud, or deceit.”

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and is awaiting trial. He is facing 4 years in prison for the domestic violence charge and another 3 years on the false imprisonment charge.

Despite the criminal case, the two reached a divorce settlement which has Matt paying $10,000 in child support. Gina has primary custody of the kids with Matt having visitation.

However, he rushed to court days later demanding the support be cut. He believes Gina should pay him child support after he lost his job over the arrest.

A judge has yet to rule. A hearing is scheduled for March.
