UPDATE -- 10:44 AM PT: Matt was booked on a felony charge of corporal injury to a spouse.
“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gina Kirschenheiter’s husband Matt was arrested this week and booked into an O.C. jail on charges relating to domestic violence only two days before she rushed to court for a restraining order.
According to jail records, Matt Kirschenheiter was arrested on June 22 and booked into an Orange County jail.
He was released the next morning, June 23 around 1 AM. According to jail records, his bail was $0.
Matt has not yet been officially charged with a crime, but law enforcement sources tell us his arrest had to do with suspicion of domestic violence.
FYI: His inmate log listed Matt at 5’10 185 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
The arrest went down only days before Gina rushed to court and took out a protective order in which she asked for an emergency hearing to discuss allegations of domestic violence.
As we first reported, the protective order names Matt as the respondent, and was filed in her ongoing divorce case.
As of now, the exact nature of the domestic violence allegations are unclear, but the timing suggests they are directly connected to Matt's arrest.

Her "Real Housewives of Orange County" co-stars also added to the speculation with their responses to her post.
Vicki Gunvalson commented, "So sweet and I’m so happy for you. Lizzie Rovsek wrote, "You two are gorgeous together!!!" While Gretchen Rossi added, "Love that you two can get along so well still."
