“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Alexis Bellino’s ex-husband Jim has been shut down in his legal battle against comedian Heather McDonald.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, an Orange County Court judge has dismissed all claims Jim brought against Heather in his defamation lawsuit.

Jim originally sued Shannon Beador and her co-star Tamra Judge for defamation. He took issue with comments they made on Heather McDonald’s podcast. He accused them of lying about his business troubles and claims he faked his divorce. He claims they ruined his reputation with their comments.

In the lawsuit, he claims his business has damaged greatly, “As a result of the defamatory statements at issue in this case, they have been unable to originate several new loans and unable to obtain several new investments, as some third parties are no longer willing to do business with them as a result of damage to my reputation.”

Shannon successfully had all claims against her dismissed and was awarded $137,340 in attorney fees from Jim.

He filed a separate lawsuit against Heather with similar claims. Jim accused Heather of making comments that were statements of facts and believes she should be held liable. Heather denied all allegations of wrongdoing and demanded the case be tossed.

The judge sided with Heather writing, “Plaintiffs simply have not shown any causation between his claimed harm and the podcast as distinct from the original statements themselves. Accordingly, Plaintiffs have not shown a likelihood of prevailing on the merits of their defamation claim.”

Jim has filed an appeal of the decision.

Recently, Shannon started making moves to start collecting on the $137k owed. She slapped Jim with a lien against his property and will be able to exam his finances in court.

Page Six first reported the news of Heather’s victory.
