Kelly Dodd is waving her white flag. The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star is vowing to play nice with haters after firing back at a slew of trolls amid rumors that she might be on Bravo’s chopping block. The 44-year-old made a promise to stop responding to negative comments just one day after catching heat for not taking Coronavirus seriously. These accusations come on the heels of Bravo viewers demanding the network take action against Kelly Dodd for her “tone-deaf” and “insensitive” content.
Taking to her social media on Thursday, June 18, the brunette bombshell, who is known for her vulgar mouth and no filter personality, posted a promise to fans on her Instagram. She shared a picture with some sound advice that read, “Don’t argue with people on social media. Every classroom had a kid that ate paste. That’s probably who you’re arguing with.” Kelly Dodd paired the photo by telling her fans that she is going to change her ways.

Addressing her followers, the “RHOC” star wrote, “I’m going to stop arguing with people on my social media!” Many applauded the Bravo personality pointing out that it’s probably a good idea considering the network is looking at their stars’ social media actions under a microscope ever since axing “Vanderpump Rules” stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute for a racial incident involving their former co-star Faith Stowers. In one week, Bravo has fired five stars, and viewers want Kelly Dodd gone next.
“This is a good idea for you. Orange County needs you!” one fan wrote on her post. “Good for you Kelly. Don’t let these haters win,” posted another. Someone else didn’t take her message seriously, responding, “Thank you for the reminder that I still need to unfollow you.”
Kelly Dodd has been firing off on trolls lately. Earlier this week, she shot down several haters who came after her fiancé, Fox News correspondent Rick Leventhal. The “RHOC” star also fired shots at her ex-cast member Tamra Judge.
During a question and answer with her fans, Tamra wasted no time to harp down on Kelly. When someone asked if Bravo should dump her for her racial slur caught on camera, Judge said “yes,” adding that Bravo shouldn’t just punish Stassi and Kristen. Kelly Dodd didn’t appreciate Tamra Judge sticking her nose where it didn’t belong and hit back with a salty response.
“She’s just thirsty and made she got the bullet,” she said, adding that Tamra was “grasping for straws.”
