Kelly Dodd is once again raising eyebrows for a comment made on social media. The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star is clapping back at haters hijacked her female empowerment post to question her caption. The 44-year-old Bravo personality has been slammed in the past for her “insensitive” and “tone-deaf” posts about real-life issues and fans have even begged the network to fire her. Kelly Dodd, who’s known for having no filter, isn’t going to change for trolls and isn’t lying down taking it from them either.
It all started when the controversial star took to her Instagram on Thursday, July 29 to slam the current black and white photo trend that began to raise awareness to females in Turkey who have been killed at the hands of men. Instead of participating, Kelly Dodd rebelled against it.
Posting a photo showing her sitting at a lunch table with eight women without masks, the “RHOC” star captioned the snap by writing, “Here is a real colored photo of women empowerment!!”

Many comments harped on the fact that not one of the women is wearing masks. FYI — in California, outdoor dining is currently legal, which is something Kelly Dodd has no problem informing the trolls.
Others decided to focus on the fact she mentioned “colored” in her caption and immediately went in on the Bravo personality. When one hater wrote, “Real Colored? What is that referencing?” Kelly Dodd clapped back, “Take a photoshop course!! It’s not referencing anything. I can’t argue with dumb.”

Someone else commented that all the women in the photo are white. “Looks like white women empowerment, but maybe I missed something,” the person said. “3 of us are Mexican! Thanks Karen!” Kelly Dodd fired back. When another follower joked that they “can’t wait for the apology in 24 hours!!!” the star informed them not to hold their breath.
“None will be given!!” she responded. Kelly Dodd has slammed for her insensitive comments before, including what she wrote when her “RHOC” co-star Shannon Beador revealed that she and her daughters all have Coronavirus.
