'RHOBH' Star Erika Jayne Slammed After Joking About Stimulus Checks

Erika Jayne is catching major backlash when her joke about stimulus checks went terribly wrong. The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star shared a repost that someone else created, showing her rolling around on a bed in her "Xxpensive" music video. In the shot, the blonde bombshell is seen in lingerie on silk sheets, as well as in a tub throwing around bubbles while dripping in jewels. The chorus says it all: "it's expensive to be me!" The video is paired with a caption that reads, "Me when I receive my second stimulus check."
Despite Erika Jayne pre-warning the haters by commenting, "TO ALL YOU SLOW BITCHES, THIS IS A #Repost ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS AND STAY OUTTA MY COMMENTS!!" it didn't stop the trolls from swarming in. Many followers were quick to point out that the "RHOBH" star is very rich and wouldn't know a thing about receiving a stimulus check.
"Obviously a joke right? Like you need or even think of a stimulus check .... smh," one person commented. "Girl I love u, but stimulus check talk is for us broke people," added another.

Others weren't so nice and immediately fired back at the star for her "out of touch" post. "I'm a fan of yours but you are seriously out of touch no matter how much you think you can relate," a troll shot back.
But not everyone was haters. Some actually loved Erika Jayne's joke. "You are my favorite," someone wrote. "This is me. This is exactly my reaction too," added another. The backlash following her stimulus check joke gone wrong isn't the only reason that Erika Jayne has been making headlines.
She caught mixed reviews when she teamed up with Lisa Rinna to bash Denise Richards over her alleged leaked text messages with Brandi Glanville. The "RHOBH" stars are split on whether they are Team Denise or Team Brandi after confronting Richards with Glanville's accusation that they had sex.
After the ladies addressed the situation with Denise Richards, she got defensive and accused some of the other "Housewives" of being the ones in bed with Brandi. Erika Jayne has made it clear on which star she believes and she's sticking with her guns.
