Kandi revealed the reunion news on Instagram live. She said producers let the cast know they would be filming an “online-type of reunion situation.” Kandi said she was unsure about the decision saying it could be hit or miss.
She spilled tea about the cast going at it in a current group text conversation. Kandi said, “yesterday on our group text, some of the girls were going back and forward, you would have thought it was the reunion on the text. I was like damn can y’all save all this for the actual reunion. We don’t get paid for your text messages to be all out of pocket. You know what I mean?”
She continued, “It’s a mess. Like seriously, I don’t know if you’ve been catching the shade here and there on the blogs. But the shade for real real in these text messages.”
Kandi is referring to NeNe and Eva recent back and forth on social media. The whole thing started when NeNe spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her thoughts on the “RHOA” cast. She said she felt Eva should be replaced by Kim Zolciak.
NeNe said, “I don’t feel like Eva brings that much to the cast. I’m just being honest. It’s really like, when you look at a show like, everybody — like the whole cast — is away, and you don’t miss the person at all, it’s sort of like, we didn’t even know you were here, you know? And all season, doing a lot of scenes from FaceTime, that’s been the last couple of seasons … So, If I had to change, I would change her.”
Eva fired back on The Rickey Smiley Show saying, “as far as my relevance on the show, I choose not to every single day be ratchet, there is already enough ratchet, i.e. her, on the show. Why do you need two? I do me and represent the other part of black women that are smart … well-spoken. That’s who I represent. So, if I’m that boring you spent time in your interview talking about me because your story line is the fact that you have no story line.”
Let’s hope they can still duke it out online.
