Cynthia spoke to The Shade Room following reports of producers informing her she was being demoted to a friend or guest of the show.
She told the outlet, “I have no plans to leave RHOA at this time. Every year there are rumors saying that I am getting fired, or not returning. I’ve been a peach holder consistently for 10 years now. I love my cast, and my Bravo family. I am looking forward to next season.”
Cynthia claims the reports of her being fired are “completely false” and added, “We just recently filmed the reunion, and have not started contract negotiations yet.”
Earlier this week, Tamra Tattles reported Cynthia was being fired as a main housewife. The outlet reported producers offered her a reduced role as a guest or friend at a much lower pay rate.
The reality star had quite the season with her getting engaged to Mike Hill, fighting with NeNe Leakes over a secret recording, her daughter coming out as bisexual and bumping heads with Kenya Moore.
Cynthia seemed to stir the pot by posting a cryptic message after the report broke, ““The strongest people are not those who always win, but those who don’t give up when they lose.” #motivationmonday #modelmonday.”
The report that Cynthia was fired came weeks after The Sun reported Phaedra Parks was in talks to return to “RHOA.”
A source told the outlet, “Phaedra is in talks to come back for season 13. RHOA is still the highest-rated Housewives series, but producers feel it hasn’t been as interesting so they want Phaedra to return.”
Earlier this month, the reunion teaser was released showing the ladies getting into it despite it being filmed virtually. Kandi Burruss revealed NeNe Leakes tried coming for her during the taping.
