Bethenny Frankel is trying to give back to the people who helped her during a dire situation, and she’s going to the mattresses.
Sources close to the “Real Housewives of New York” star tell The Blast that Frankel is currently trying to secure a donation of over 200 twin mattresses for hospital beds at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Massachusetts.
We’re told during her two-day stay, while suffering an allergic reaction to fish, Frankel found the hospital beds less than desirable. The reality star wanted to help make a difference for some of the other patients at the facility and has offered to try and secure them a new shipment of mattresses.
Along with mattresses, the star is also hoping to get the hospital new linens and pillows. She tried reaching out to a few companies, and actually heard back from online mattress company, Leesa, and also Wayfair.com, who have both offered to help out.
A rep for Newton-Wellesley Hospital tells The Blast, while they have not asked Frankel for any help, they definitely depend on donations from people and are appreciative of her “very generous” offer.
As we reported, Frankel was transported to the hospital over the weekend after she lost consciousness from eating a bowl soup that contained fish, and The Blast has confirmed the soup was actual miso, which traditionally does contain fish in the ingredients.
Sources close to the “Real Housewife” tell The Blast she usually has no issues with miso soup, but the restaurant she dined at with boyfriend Paul Bernon apparently included a fish in the dish that caused a very bad reaction.
