Ray J Abandons Rolls-Royce Convertible To Protest George Floyd's Death

By Whitney Vasquez

Ray J left his car behind to join thousands of protestors demanding justice for George Floyd's murder on Saturday, May 30. The rapper surprised fans when he showed up to fight the good fight in Los Angeles' Fairfax District over the weekend. But he didn't just roll up in anything, he made his appearance by driving his black Rolls-Royce convertible in the middle of the protest and abandoning it to walk the streets with marchers. The star's luxury vehicle definitely made an entrance as he pulled up in the middle of the crowd.

Leaves Car Behind!

Witnesses appeared shocked at first, knowing it must be someone of power in the expensive car, then lost their minds when Ray J emerged. The people surrounding him coaxed the star to walk the streets by chanting, "Get out the car!" That's when he abandoned his car and jumped out to join them. Wearing comfortable clothes including a zip-up and tracksuit pants, he sported his Louis Vuitton-inspired face mask over his mouth and nose.

A protestor on the scene shared a video of the amazing entrance and simply captioned the clip, "Ray j get out the car." The star is currently going through a divorce with “Love & Hip Hop” star Princess Love after nearly four years of marriage.

Princess Love Files For Divorce:

She filed for divorce in August at a Los Angeles County Court and has since asked for custody of their two children. As The Blast reported, Princess Love is asking for full custody of the former duo's two kids -- Melody, 2 and Epik, 4 months -- and also asked the court to force him to pay child support. But she wants him to see the kids and included visitation for her ex. Ray J and Princess Love said "I do" in August 2016.
