Rapper Juice WRLD was being watched by federal agents who received tips about drugs being aboard his private jets, only weeks before his tragic death.

According to reports, Federal Agents had been watching the late rapper for several weeks. The Feds had searched Juice WRLD’s private jet prior to the recent incident in Chicago.

Federal Investigators previously stopped the rapper’s jet on November 18. They conducted a search to check for possible narcotics.

Juice WRLD and his entourage were taking off for an international flight to Australia. The Feds completed the search and allowed the jet to leave the airport.

The incident came days before Feds stopped Juice WRLD’s jet arriving into Chicago. During their search, the rapper started experiencing a medical emergency. He reportedly swallowed pills while federal agents searched his entourage.

He suffered seizures and officials administered Narcan to the 21-year-old rapper. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead at 3:14 a.m.

Officials reportedly found multiple bottles of liquid codeine, three firearms and 41 bags of marijuana. Two of Juice WRLD’s security guards were arrested and hit with gun charges.

Juice WRLD’s autopsy was completed by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Officer. They released a statement saying the autopsy performed left inconclusive results.

The Medical Examiner said they have ordered, "Additional studies include cardiac pathology, neuropathology, toxicology and histology."

"The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has determined that additional studies are required to establish the cause and manner of death for 21-year-old Jarad A. Higgins," the statement read.

Juice WRLD celebrated his 21st birthday last week. He posted a photo of him hanging with friends on a boat. The rapper said, “Yesterday was my actual bday im celebrating all week doe??‍♂‍999 sh-t.”

The rapper first started getting attention after releasing music on SoundCloud. He released his first album “Goodbye & Good Riddance” in 2018, which went platinum. His second album “Death Race for Love” debuted at No.1 on the Billboard charts this March. His biggest hit “Lucid Dreams” hit No. 2 on the Billboard charts.

Before his death, Juice WRLD honored his late musical friends, XXXTentacion and Lil Peep, on a song “Legends” where he talked about their deaths.

The lyrics read, “They tell me I’ma be a legend/I don’t want that title now/‘Cause all the legends seem to die out.”

Juice WRLD talked to the The New York Times and about drugs, “I smoke weed, and every now and then I slip up and do something that’s poor judgment. I have a lot going for me, I recognize it’s a lot of big things, a lot of big looks. I want to be there, and you don’t have to overdose to not be there.”
