R. Kelly’s ex-girlfriend Azriel Clary was spotted laughing and enjoying life only hours after the disgraced singer was shut down in his attempt to be released from prison.

23-year-old Azriel shared video of her dancing to Drake’s “Toosie Slide” in the middle of the streets. The clip starts with Azriel being filmed skateboarding down an empty road. She jumps off the board and starts showing off her rap skills.

Azriel then shows off some dance moves while smiling from ear to ear. She wrote, “they just mad cause I passed em’ like a test, yeah you hatin but you really just impressed.”

Azriel shared this message to trolls coming for her on social media, “I would literally and I mean this with the breath in my lungs, I would rather be homeless than to ever be around people who genuinely don’t care for me/love me. My heart is too good, and I’ve been through too much to ever allow anyone to think it’s okay to treat me any type of way, because it’s not. I believe in myself, and I will always believe in myself. And I will make it because the only motives I have are pure motives.”

As The Blast previously reported, Azirel’s happiness comes hours after Kelly was shut down in court. A New York federal judge denied his motion for bond. Kelly cried about the conditions inside Chicago MCC saying they were dangerous for someone his age. He proposed a plan that would allow him to be under house arrest with his girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage.

Prosecutors say Kelly is being treated like every other inmate and demanded he not be released. The judge sided with prosecutors noting Kelly is still a flight risk and could try to intimidate witnesses while out on bond.

Kelly will have to remain behind bars until his trial.
