R. Kelly Cries Over Coronavirus Blocking Visitors From Seeing Him In Prison

R. Kelly is complaining about not receiving special treatment while behind bars.

According to reports, Kelly was unable to meet with his lawyers last week due to Coronavirus concerns.

The alleged child sex predator is currently locked up in MCC Chicago. His lawyers attempted to visit him but were turned away by prison officials.

The prison officials informed Kelly’s lawyers nobody was allowed visitors and it wasn’t only their client's guests being turned away. Kelly’s lawyers reportedly wanted to check on Kelly’s “well-being” and to work on his defense in his criminal cases.

Prosecutors have been hitting Kelly left and right with new charges as their investigations continue and more alleged victims come forward. Kelly has plead not guilty to all charges.

A rep for the Bureau of Prisons in Illinois says the staff has suspending visitors for 30 days. The prison is attempting to prevent exposing the inmates to Coronavirus.

The singer is still allowed to make phone calls to his lawyers but continues to moan about the treatment. Kelly has a LONG history of complaining about his conditions in prison.


Prosecutors have accused him of breaking prison rules by communicating with people without being monitored. Kelly has complained about not being able to buy candy, not getting enough time outside and not being able to have multiple visitors at once.

Kelly is facing two federal criminal cases and is headed to trial in both. He is facing A LOT of time behind bars on the serious charges.

One person not trying to visit Kelly is his ex-girlfriend Azriel Clary. She recently spoke out for the first time since leaving Kelly accusing him of years of abuse.

In the sit-down, Azriel detailed one alleged incident where Kelly beat her with his size 12 Nike Air Force Ones.

She recently started working with prosecutors and handed over evidence against Kelly.
