R. Kelly’s legal problems just got a lot worse…after the singer was hit with several new federal charges to add to the already existing laundry list of criminal counts, and these ones include exposing minors to an STD.
According to new court records, R. Kelly has been hit with a new indictment, filed in the Eastern District of New York, which is related to two new victims…one of which was a minor.
The new indictment includes charges of Coercion and enticement, coercion of a minor, and transportation of a minor across state lines. One of the victims…claims she had sex with the singer in 2015 before she was 18 years old.
We broke the story, a source provided prosecutors with evidence of R. Kelly transporting a minor across state lines which included copies of the minor’s plane tickets. In some cases, it is alleged, R. Kelly would fly girls to different states where he was performing.
In the document, one of the women listed as Jane Doe #5 claims R. Kelly never told her he had Herpes during their relationship. She was a minor at the time. The second woman, Jane Doe #6, says she was also exposed to the sexually transmitted virus because she had unprotected sex with the singer.
In addition to the new child sex charges, R. Kelly has also been hit with racketeering charges including allegations he used, “force, threats of force, physical restraint and threats of physical restraint.”
At this point, it is unclear when R. Kelly will be arraigned on the new charges, but he is still locked up in an Illinois prison while he awaits trial on child sex charges.
As we reported, one of R. Kelly’s last defender’s was his girlfriends (Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage). But, now one of them has flipped, and Azriel is claiming he was brainwashing her and forcing her to lie in public.
The 23-year-old revealed last week, that the singer forced her to eat her own feces while they were still together. Azriel, who is now helping federal prosecutors with their case, says in a video on Instagram, “He has a video of me, um, he made me do this video of me doing a number 2 in a cup, and then eating it out of the cup.”
The video also includes a snippet of a phone call between Clary and R. Kelly, where she can be heard telling the disgraced singer, “It’s done, It’s over. You may not even make it to trial. I’m so sorry for you. I’m sorry. I really did love you. And you lied to me and used me and played me.”
R. Kelly faces life behind bars if convicted on all charges.
