R. Kelly Manager Accused of Threatening Parents of 'Sex Cult' Girl, Police Report Filed

By TheBlast Staff

R. Kelly's manager has been accused of threatening the parents of alleged victim Joycelyn Savage over their participation in Lifetime's "Surviving R. Kelly," and now police are involved.

According to the police report, obtained by The Blast, Timothy Savage called police to his Georgia residence on January 3 just before 6 AM and claimed he was receiving threats by a man named Don Russell, who is the manager for R. Kelly.

Joycelyn is one of the women suspected of being held in R. Kelly's alleged sex cult. She has denied the claim, but Joycelyn's parents have continued to fight and believe she has been brainwashed by the singer.

Timothy told police that he and his wife are involved in Lifetime's documentary and that Russell began texting the morning of the premiere, that "it would be best for him and his family if the documentary does not air."

The police note Russell called while they were with Timothy, and listened to the conversation while it was on speaker. Russell accused Timothy of providing false information to Lifetime, and said that if he continued supporting the docu-series, that Kelly and Russell "would be forced to provide information disproving Timothy."

Russell also made it clear information they threatened to leak would "ruin him, his reputation, business, and family because it would show him a liar."

The report was made for "harassing communications" and forwarded to CID for further investigation.

As for Timothy, he and his wife continue to plead with Joycelyn to get in touch with them, but it appears she has not made contact.
