The family of R. Kelly's girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage, are done pleading for a meeting with their daughter and are now getting ready to head to Chicago and find the girl for themselves.
Sources close to Savage's family tell The Blast, Timothy and his wife, Jonjelyn, will be traveling from Georgia to Chicago on a mission to locate Joycelyn and question the girl on her relationship with Kelly.
As we reported, the Savage's believe the controversial R&B star has brainwashed their daughter, and they have not spoken to her in years. Joycelyn adamantly denies she is being held against her will, and swears her relationship with Kelly is genuine.
She has been on Kelly's side though the drama from the Lifetime docu-series, "Surviving R. Kelly," and also publicly defending the singer by showing up to his court hearings with Kelly's other girlfriend, Azriel Clary.
There have been welfare checks done on Joycelyn by law enforcement in the past, but Savage family attorney Gerald Griggs believes Joycelyn could not have answered truthfully because she was allegedly never separated from Kelly.
Joycelyn's father has also requested multiple meetings with his daughter, without Kelly's interference, but he has only been met with alleged threats from the singer's protectors and enforcers.
We're told the Savage family is in contact with law enforcement in both Georgia and Chicago in the hopes of having them assist in any confrontation that may arise with Kelly's security. They plan to head out this weekend.
Joycelyn's last known location was Trump International Hotel & Tower, where Kelly has a residence. It's unclear if she's still there, but that will definitely be a location the Savage family checks.
