One of the women accusing R. Kelly of sexual battery now has a meeting with police and is also making it known she will cooperate with any other agencies investigating the singer.
Faith Rodgers just held a press conference in NYC with attorney Gloria Allred, who compared the singer to the likes of "Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein," adding, "just as they are being held accountable, you must also be held accountable.
Allred said she currently represents 3 alleged victims of Kelly, and "You may rest assured that I will do everything in my power to support those who claim they are victims."
Allred and Rodgers said they have a meeting scheduled with the NYPD, where they will offer up information to prosecutors. At this time, it does not appear there is an active investigation against the singer in New York, however Allred clearly feels the information she has could possibly open a probe.
She delivers a message to Kelly, "You can look forward to a legacy that will not be your music, but rather the pain and suffering you inflicted on many young women."
As we reported, Rodgers currently has a lawsuit against Kelly, claiming the singer knowingly gave her an STD and subjected her to mental and physical abuse.
Allred said she and her clients are also willing to cooperate with officials in Fulton County, GA, who are currently investigating Kelly for possible criminal charges. She is also willing to help out the Cook County State's Attorney in gathering any information they may need.
