According to one report, the fight didn't last very long, and people in the area were able to break it up fairly quickly. After the incident, Kelly was taken to the prison's medical wing and it was determined he was not badly injured.

A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau Of Prisons, who manage the prison systems, it cannot comment on an individual inmate's conditions of confinement or medical status due to privacy and safety reasons, per TMZ.

As you can imagine, R. Kelly is a very protected because of his celebrity status on the inside -- but in some cases, it can cause issues for other inmates, and not all of them are happy with the situation.

According To Reports The Singer Is Not Seriously Injured

As we reported, R. Kelly is NOT happy with his current prison conditions and has been filing documents in the case complaining about several issues.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Kelly filed a new motion whining about his scheduled trial date of October 20, 2020, which is being postponed.

In the document, obtained by The Blast, Kelly's lawyer argued the move, saying, “frankly, that is not Mr. Kelly’s fault and that should not be Mr. Kelly’s problem, and Mr. Kelly should not be the one who has to suffer, remaining in archaic jail conditions that are medieval so that the Government can more conveniently prosecute its case.”

The disgraced singer adds, “If witnesses are required to remain in quarantine for fourteen (14) days so that they may present whatever story they have against Mr. Kelly, then so be it. He has had to remain in virtual solitary confinement for over a year. The inconvenience to the witnesses pales in comparison."
