A new woman has come forward as not only an accuser but also a witness to R. Kelly's alleged sexual acts with minors and she spoke with federal investigators on Thursday on what she saw with the embattled singer.
According to our sources, the witness claims she was sexually abused by R. Kelly but she was an adult at the time. We're told the woman was a fan of Kelly's and she ended up in an extended relationship with the singer.
Our sources say the woman told investigators — the same ones who interviewed R. Kelly's former stylist on Wednesday — she was a victim of sexual abuse and actually witnessed underage female victims being abused by Kelly. We're told the woman has not been a part of any other investigation into Kelly's alleged sexual misconduct.
Sources close to the case tell us they expect a federal indictment to be "coming very soon."
We're told the woman — who is being represented by Gerald Griggs, the attorney for the family of Joycelyn Savage — wishes to remain anonymous.
As The Blast first reported, federal investigators and representatives of the U.S. Attorney's Office interviewed Kash Howard on Wednesday to find out what she knows about one of Kelly's girlfriends, Azriel Clary, who allegedly traveled over state lines to be with the singer.
