Quibi Is Here For All Your Abbreviated TV Needs

Quibi, the short-form streaming service that hopes to be the next small thing in viewing content, recently released several trailers about their upcoming shows for people to check out.

The trailers range from reality TV shows to comedies to dramas and everything in between, but there's just less of it all. According to Indiewire, each episode will be less than 10 minutes long.

If that sounds like your thing, here's a rundown of some of the new shows coming to Quibi in April, if you have time for it. The trailers are just 1/10th of the length of each episode, so, less than a minute.

'Flipped'

"Flipped" sounds similar to those home-makeover shows on HGTV, except they've made it some kind of dark comedy based around two would-be home-makeover reality TV stars. Indiewire writes that "Flipped" is produced by Funny or Die, those guys who gave us "The Landlord" all those years ago.

The show will star Will Forte and Kaitlin Olson of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia," and also includes Andy Garcia, Eva Longoria, and Arturo Castro as the members of a cartel.

For each of these trailers, Quibi wrote up a brief description to match the brevity of the shows. They described "Flipped" as: "Will Forte. Kaitlin Olson. Renovations & cartels. Flipped.”

'Most Dangerous Game'

"Most Dangerous Game" stars Liam Hemsworth and Christoph Waltz and is a drama about a very sick man who will do anything to keep his wife -- and their unborn baby -- safe. The game he embarks on could net him $24.5 million. Is that enough to save his life?

Here's Quibi's description: “Staying alive comes at a price. Liam Hemsworth and Christoph Waltz. Most Dangerous Game.”

'Barkitecture'

Would you believe there isn't a home-renovation show for dog houses on any other streaming service? Well we have one now, and it's called "Barkitecture."

Quibi pumps up the description of the show, saying it's “These dog houses are OFF THE LEASH luxurious. Because today and every day is #LoveYourPetDay. Tyler Cameron and Delia Kenza. Barkitecture.”

"Nightgowns With Sasha Velour"

"Nightgowns With Sasha Velour" follows the drag queen as she weaves her showcase into a fully fledged stage production. Indiewire notes that each episode (there are eight in all) contains a choreographed lip-sync performance that closes out the show. Those performances will be directed by Sophie Muller, who has plenty of experience with music videos.

Here's what Quibi says about "Nightgowns": "Nothing feels more alive. Sasha Velour welcomes you to NightGowns.”
