Prince William and Kate Middleton were seen walking with Princess Charlotte and Prince George on Thursday morning on their way to Thomas's Battersea, a private preparatory school in London.

Kate wore a red and white floral dress cinched with a black belt around her waist.

4-year-old Charlotte and 6-year-old George were both wearing their school uniforms, and looked eager to begin the school year while clutching their parent's hands.

George, who has been at the school for two years, will be tasked with showing his little sister the way around school.

Earlier, before the Royal family took off for school, the brother and sister both posed on the steps of Kensington palace for an adorable photo.

A caption from The Palace read, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a photograph of Prince George and Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning."

The Royal children's schooling recently made headlines when "Good Morning America" host Lara Spencer mocked Prince George for taking a ballet class.

"Prince William says George absolutely loves ballet. I have news for you Prince William, we’ll see how long that lasts," she quipped.

Spencer later apologized for the wisecrack, and admitted she royally "screwed up."
