The person who posed with Pop Smoke just hours before he was murdered, while holding wads of cash, wants everyone to know he did NOT set up his friend, in fact, he can't believe anyone would even think anything of the sort.

Pop Smoke's friend, Mike Dee, took to Instagram to address the situation, and clear up any suspicion about him and the up and coming rapper.

As we reported, Pop Smoke and Mike posed together in front of the Hollywood Hills home with a huge stack of cash, just hours before masked men stormed the home and killed him.

At this point, police have not released any information about possible suspects or leads in the investigation. Also, it is unclear if anyone has accused Mike Dee of a setup, or if he is just reacting to trolls online.

The 'Welcome To The Party' rapper was killed early this morning after 4-masked men committed a home invasion robbery at his Hollywood Hills home. According to law enforcement, the men fired several shots, inside the home, that struck the rapper who was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital just hours later.

Instagram

The rapper is known for posting Instagram pictures holding tons of cash, but it's unknown at this point if that's why he was targeted.

According to one report, police are currently investigating the fact that the rapper accidentally also posted his home address on Instagram while showing off a recent gift he had received. Sadly, he had been given the gift because his new mixed tape just shot to the top 10 on music charts.

So far no arrests have been made, and LAPD continues to investigate.
