"Saturday Night Live" kicked off the 45th season of the sketch comedy show, but one of the biggest stars was nowhere to be found.

Woody Harrelson hosted the show and Billie Eillish was the musical guest, and the premiere even included surprise cameos by past "SNL" stars, like Maya Rudolph portraying Kamala Harris.

Larry David also reprised his role as Bernie Sanders.

However, fans seemed very concerned with the absence of Pete Davidson, who did not appear in any sketch nor did he join the cast on stage to say goodbye at the end of the show.

"Okay but am I the only one concerned by Pete Davidson’s absence??" one fan wrote on Twitter.

Another questioned, "So like, is Pete Davidson okay? better take good care of that kid."

Probably the biggest reason fans were worried is because the last time Davidson skipped a taping of "SNL," he was battling serious mental health issues.

In the midst of his public breakup with Ariana Grande last year, Davidson tweeted out a heartbreaking message to fans:

"I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore. I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so."

Luckily, this time Davidson has a much more positive reason for skipping out on "Saturday Night Live," because it turns out he is currently working on a big movie.

Davidson reportedly has a role in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" sequel, and has been in Atlanta filming with the rest of the cast.

A photo circulated on social media late Saturday night showing Davidson alongside director James Gunn and what appears to be the rest of the cast at a screening of the film, "Joker."

Davidson appears to be in good spirits, giving a wry smile while wearing a backwards blue hat.

Still, fans are worried about the star's future on "SNL," and are hoping he will return next week to appear alongside Taylor Swift on October 5, when she is the musical guest.

"Please tell me he is in next week’s episode. I need a [Taylor Swift] Pete Davidson crossover," one fan pleaded.

We'll have to wait and see.
