‘The Voice’ star Blake Shelton sent a very personal message to girlfriend after winning a People’s Choice Award for Country Artist of 2019, and it is clear he really, really loves her.
After winning the award, Shelton delivered an acceptance speech and during the moment he reserved a special moment for Gwen.
“I love the s**t out of you,” Shelton told the crowd.
The moment came at the end of his speech, and although the broadcast was forced to bleep it, it was a great heartfelt moment.
Blake was hilarious during the entire moment, making a joke about how he was the last to win anything at his table.
“I’m really glad I won this because I was the only person at my table who hasn’t won anything tonight and it was starting to get a little bit embarrassing,” Shelton said.
He then joked, “Zendaya was making fun of me earlier.”
Shelton also thanked his co-workers at NBC’s The Voice, and country music fans. “It’s been awesome. It’s been an incredible ride,” he said.
As for the Gwen moment, he started with… “And I want to say, thanks to Pink, now I know we can cuss on this show. And I want to say, Gwen Stefani, I love the s**t out of you. Thank you!”
Gwen did repay the favor by mentioning Blake during her speech for the Fashion Icon Award, “I love you, Blake Shelton, you’re a babe,” she told the crowd.
Stefani and Shelton have been dating since 2015, and currently, are facing off against each other on “The Voice.”
