Peaky Blinders is back for a fifth season!
BBC and Netflix’s crime drama Peaky Blinders is returning for a fifth season later in 2019, bringing fans the latest antics of the Shelby family.
Cillian Murphy’s Tommy will continue to navigate 1920s London, starting season five as a newly appointed member of Parliament. His constant quest for power will probably be his own undoing, with his own sister Ada (Sophie Rundle) telling him that “no one is gonna hang you, Tommy. You’re going to hang yourself.”
However, Tommy’s ego won’t be his only threat in season five. Actor Sam Claflin will be portraying Oswald Mosley, the leader of the British Union of Fascists who gets a little too interested in the Shelby family business.
Claflin is best known for portraying Finnick in The Hunger Games franchise, as well as starring in Me Before You, Snow White and the Huntsman , and Their Finest.
Something tells me that more suffering and bloodshed is imminent on Peaky Blinders next season, so start saying your prayers for your favorites’ survival now.
