Paris Hilton is newly dating entrepreneur Carter Reum, and the hotel heiress decided to go public with her new man on Sunday night for the 2020 Golden Globes.
Hilton and Reum stepped out together for the GG after-party thrown by InStyle and Warner Bros. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The new couple was spotted holding hands while walking through a crowd of celebrities and industry insiders.
According to one report, Paris and Carter were not hiding their PDA, kissing at one point in the party for all to see them. The duo has reportedly been dating each other for a little over a month.
So who is Carter Reum you ask?
Carter is an entrepreneur and an author. He co-founded and built VEEV Spirits with his brother, Courtney. The company listed in Inc. Magazine’s 500 fasting growing private companies in America.
According to its website, “VEEV is a neutral grain spirit distilled from Idaho Winter Wheat and infused with all-natural, organic acai from Brazil. VEEV is proud to be the first carbon-neutral spirits brand and is an active member of 1% of the Planet® where 1% of VEEV’s sales are donated to Rainforest Preservation and environmental causes.”
Carter and his company are mentioned in Richard Branson’s book ‘Screw Business As Usual’. He is also the co-founder of the investment firm M13. The firm has made investments in companies like SpaceX, Lyft, and Pinterest.
Hilton was engaged to be married to Chris Zylka after announcing their engagement on Jan. 2, 2018. At the time, Zylka gave the heiress stunning 20-carat $2 million engagement ring.
But, after 11 months, the couple decided to call it quits. Hilton discussed the breakup during an interview with ‘The Talk’, saying,
“I’m just really having my ‘me time. I just feel that when I fall in love, I fall in love fast and hard and it was this whirlwind romance…and I thought it was going to be my happy ending, and I just realized after time it wasn’t the right decision.”
She continued, “But I wish him the best and one day I would love to get married and have children, but for right now I’m just focused on myself and my work.”
At the time of the couple’s split, Paris posted this message on Instagram, “I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself. And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
Bottom Line: Paris Hilton is a globally successful businesswoman, and it seems Carter is right up her alley.
