Their performance was one of the best moments of the night at the BET Awards.
"Old Town Road" has been the song of the spring -- and now summer -- after first hitting No. 1 on the Billboard charts back in April. The infectious rap/country remix featuring Billy Ray Cyrus is everywhere, and everyone, from kids to adults, seems to love it.
The song was not nominated for any BET awards, but the dynamic duo was invited to perform their hit during the show on Sunday night.
The performance started with Cyrus and Nas X riding into the Staples Center on horseback. They then entered the stage, which was made to look like an old west saloon, and proceed to bring down the house.

There are surely more hits to come for Lil Nas X -- he just released his full EP last week. The genre-bending album has already earned rave reviews.
