Nipsey Hussle‘s death certificate has been released and, as expected, states he died as the result of fatal gunshot wounds.
As we previously reported, it was determined Hussle died from gunshot wounds to the head and torso after being executed in the parking lot of his clothing store the afternoon of March 31.
According to the death certificate, Hussle did not suffer long, and his death is listed as “rapid.”
Paramedics rushed to the scene and tried to save the hip-hop star’s life, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital at 3:55 PM.
The medical examiner ruled Nipsey’s cause of death to be homicide and the man suspected of pulling the trigger, Eric Holder, pled not guilty during an initial court appearance.
After his autopsy was completed, Nipsey’s body was picked up by his family and transported to a famous funeral home in South Los Angeles.
Nipsey’s memorial will take place Thursday at Staples Center. Afterwards, he will be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
