As Nipsey Hussle lay on the ground dying, panic erupted around him and can be heard in the initial 911 call.
According to the emergency call, obtained by The Blast, the caller desperately screams that she needs an ambulance to the corner of Slauson and Crenshaw after Nipsey had been shot multiple times.
“ASAP ambulance!” the woman screams, as the dispatcher tries to get a hold of the situation and determine what the problem is.
In the background of the call, chaos can be heard as people are screaming during the initial aftermath of the shooting.
As the caller surveys the situation, she exclaims “Oh my God!” and tells the dispatcher that “somebody is on the ground!”
As emergency crews arrived and the area was taped off, officials could be seen working on Nipsey and racing to save his life.
Unfortunately, the hip-hop star did not pull through and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
As we reported, the alleged murderer, Eric Holder, was seen having words with Nipsey about snitching before Holder returned and opened fire on the star on April 1.
The getaway driver, who later turned herself into police, testified to a grand jury that Nipsey tried to warn Holder the about snitching rumors, to which the suspected killer took great offense.
After the shooting, the location of Nipsey’s death outside his clothing store became a memorial for the community.
Thousands of fans passed by and paid their respects to the fallen hip-hop star, and left flowers, balloons and candles in his honor.
The memorial stayed up for weeks before being taken down at the request of Nipsey’s family, because looters had began stealing the keepsakes and trying to sell them as official merchandise.
