Nicolas Cage says he will only grace us with classic performances — like the ones he gave in "National Treasure" and "Raising Arizona" — for just a few more years before he makes the move behind the camera.

The "Ghost Rider" star was in Puerto Rico discussing his new film, "Primal" where he revealed the soul-crushing news about his future in the cinema biz.

“Right now, I’m primarily a film performer and I’m gonna continue doing that for three or four more years and I’d like to focus more on directing," Cage told the media.

Cage's acting has been cinema comfort food since the early 1980s and it is hard to imagine a world where Nick's famous freakouts and screams no longer appear on the screens of movie theaters around the world.
