Nicki Minaj will be hosting a big party after her "Saturday Night Live" performance, but unfortunately it won't be going down anywhere near the champagne room.

The promoter of the NYC party tells The Blast, the "Chun-Li" rapper will make a late-night appearance at Highline Ballroom, even though she was originally scheduled to host a party at Scores NY, one of the city's finest strip clubs. Scores had already been selling tickets, but unfortunately the demand was more than their venue could handle, so Minaj was forced to relocate.

Minaj caused some confusion earlier in the week when she denied being part of the Scores event, but it appears she didn't realize the news to the public had not been made yet.

We're told that not only is the hip-hop star excited about more people being able to attend now, but that Highline is a "safer and bigger" venue, as opposed to the gentleman's club.

Minaj is not obligated to perform during the appearance, especially since she'll have just wrapped up "SNL," but we're told she'll be enjoying VIP bottle service and the organizers of the event are hopeful she'll feel inspired to get up on stage for a few songs.

Tickets are now on sale starting at $50.00 a pop, which is $25.00 more than before ... with 100% less naked ladies and chicken wings.

Good news though, we're told ticket holders were already emailed with the location switch and they're still good to join the party, unless they want a refund, or would just rather go to the strip club.
