Nicki Minaj is showing her support behind Megan Thee Stallion, despite the 25-year-old's highly-anticipated single with Cardi B that drops tonight. The pregnant 37-year-old, who was featured on Meg's "Hot Girl Summer" hit last year, praised the "Savage" rapper for continuing to get her college education despite her music success. Nicki Minaj said Megan Thee Stallion is the "perfect example" of how it's possible to blend beauty and brains when she opened up about juggling her career with soon-to-be mama duties to Variety in their latest Young Hollywood Issue.

Megan Thee Stallion entered her third year at Texas Southern University in September 2019 and is able to stay both on top of her studies and the music charts. "One of my favorite things about Meg is her desire to further her education," Nicki Minaj opened up to the magazine.

"It's so important for women to feel inspired to achieve goals outside of social media, where the focus is usually placed on their bodies or who they're dating at the time," she continued.

"Women are more than just baby mamas, and we can continue to prove that by being goal-oriented, bettering ourselves, and being independent. Megan is the perfect example that we can have fun and be smart at the same time," Nicki Minaj added.

Interestingly enough, the issue comes just days ahead of Megan Thee Stallion's collaboration with Nicki's archenemy Cardi B. Back in 2018, the rappers got into a heated argument that turned physical during a New York Fashion Week after-party. Cardi was photographed exiting the party without a shoe and sporting a knot on her forehead.

The Internet exploded when Megan Thee Stallion announced new music with Cardi B earlier this week. Their first collaboration, "WAP," drops at midnight tonight. As far as Nicki Minaj's feud with Cardi B, Cardi went off on social media after the fight and accused Nicki of speaking ill about her parenting skills.

She also claimed that Nicki Minaj has "threatened other artists in the industry" and told them "if they work with me you'll stop fucking with them." Apparently, that's all changed.
