Nicki Minaj Doubles Down On Defending Husband For Pushing Singer

Nicki Minaj has her husband's back no matter what. The "Queen" rapper is doubling down on defending Kenneth Petty after her man caught heat for pushing singer Iwer George when he got too close to his wife. The incident went down during the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival festivities earlier this week with a video circulating showing the brief altercation. While Nicki Minaj publically apologized for her husband's actions, she is now speaking out again about the incident and it appears Kenneth Petty can do no wrong in her eyes.
On Thursday, the "Barbie Dreams" rapper took to social media to declare her support for her man. Sharing a photo of them from the annual celebration, Nicki Minaj was seen showing tons of skin while sporting a rhinestone encrested turquoise ensemble complete with angel wings. Wearing matching makeup, the dark haired beauty blew a kissy face to the camera while cuddling up to her husband. She was definitely in party mode and showcased her playful side while Kenneth Petty appeared to be not in the festive mood.
Nicki Minaj defended him in the caption of the photo, writing, "Rappers would kill for this attention chile. Lol at night when we go to bed I say 'babe u was all over the blogs today.' He be like 'oh word?' ??." Continuing, the rapper added, "he rlly don’t have social media to see y’all write think pieces about him chile. ‼️♥️♥️♥️ AND AH LIKE IT LIKE IT LIKE THISSSSSSS. JUS LIKE THIS ‼️‼️‼️‼️" This comes just one day after footage surfaced showing Kenneth Petty pushing Iwer George's arm away after he attempted to get Nicki Minaj involved in the performance as they rode on a float during the festival.

The incident created choas online with fans telling Kenneth Petty, who already has a controversial past, to "loosen up." Nicki Minaj addressed those concerns and assured them he was just being a protective and loving husband. "Oh gawd. Allyuh like shit eh? I go cuz all yuh real fkn stink yuh know?" the rapper responded to one comment. "He don't understand anything about our culture. I apologize on his behalf. He's always in security mode. All love. Love my country to death. Love my ppl to death. Period ... I should've told him it's a very comfortable family atmosphere. He's never been to a carnival in his life. Not even in Brooklyn babe."
