Gordon was rushed to a local Florida hospital where he died. He was only 30-years-old. As we reported, Nick's brother confirmed to the media Nick had passed away and said it was due to an overdose. According to one report, Nick was taken to Altamonte Springs Hospital where he suffered a series of heart attacks after the purported overdose.

Obviously, the "black stuff" coming from his mouth could have been an indication of an overdose. In many cases, during an opioid overdose there can be foaming from the mouth.

At this point, the medical examiner in Florida will need to conduct an autopsy, and determine the exact cause of death. The issue is they will also have to do a full toxicology screen of his blood to see what substances may have been in his body. This process can take several weeks. Nick's death is a tragic end to a saga that started back when legendary singer Whitney Houston died after drowning in a hotel room bathtub. At the time, Whitney had several drugs in her bloodstream.

Nick was also present Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, overdosed in a bathtub in 2015. Gordon was being investigated for the death up until the day he died.
