Aaron Carter is an uncle again, and lucky for him there's now one family member he can freely contact ... for now.

Nick Carter and wife Lauren Kitt welcomed their baby girl late Wednesday evening, according to US Weekly.

A rep for the Backstreet Boys star said that both, "Mom and daughter are doing great.”

Nick had shared a maternity photo on Wednesday as Lauren went into labor, and told fans the couple was "Eagerly awaiting our new addition."

The family has been gearing up for the birth and taking fans along for the journey, especially with the drama concerning the baby's uncle, Aaron Carter.

As we reported, Nick and his sister, Angel, both filed for restraining orders against Aaron and accused their brother of harboring violent thoughts towards them.

Specifically, Nick accused his little brother of harboring thoughts about killing Lauren and their unborn child, and out of precaution for everyone sought the order of protection.

At the time, the Backstreet Boys star explained:

"After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today. In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family."

According to the documents, obtained by The Blast, Nick listed himself, Lauren, their 3-year-old son Odin and Lauren's parents as needing protection, but did not make a provision for the incoming baby.

Aaron has publicly sworn off ever speaking with his family again, so there's a good chance he's not sending over a cookie basket to congratulate his brother.

Still, it would probably be a good idea for Nick to head back to court and modify the restraining order to make sure the new bundle of joy is included in the family protection.
