Nic Cage’s son Weston is accusing his mother of trying to control him and pleading for the court to protect him against her.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Weston Cage filed a petition for a restraining order against his mother Christina Fulton.

In the documents, Weston asked the court to protect him, his wife and two daughters. He asked the court to order Christina to stay 100 yards away from him, his home, his work and his family members. He wanted her to be prohibited from making any contact with him.

Weston said he believed his mom possessed firearms and ammunition. In the documents, Nic’s son asked the court to order Christina to return his personal identification, ID, passport, wallet, apartment keys and wedding ring.

In the docs, he says the last incident of alleged abuse occurred on July 10th. He said, “Christina gave private information, photographs and texts of mine to cause emotional distress and ruin my career while I was in treatment. She prolonged my state of psychosis and gave me a phone she connected to a computer to stalk me through IMessage. She impersonated me.”

He said from February 28, 2020 until now, “Christina Fulton took me out of my house with my wife, promising my wife she could take me.” The rest of the paragraph is hard to read because of the handwriting. It appears to say Christina promised Weston’s wife she could take him to treatment. Instead, Weston claims his mother isolated him at a hotel and his condition got worse.

He wrote, “While having mental health problems and in the state of psychosis, Christina was using psychological abuse to restrict my access to go to treatment & to my family. She did this by withholding my phone, she took my wallet and identification. Shortly after, all of the resulted in my hospitalization 5150 for a worsened state … in fear of losing her grasp on me.”

Weston explained why he needed protection for his family members. He wrote, “They are my family & Christina has been threatening and harassing as well as disturbing the peace with gossip, lies, and inaccurate information, she has caused distress for months.”

A judge denied the petition for a temporary restraining order but a hearing has been scheduled in August where Weston can argue his case.
