Nia Vardalos Takes a Big Fat Single Greek Vacation During Divorce

Days after officially filing for divorce, Nia Vardalos sought solace in her ancestral homeland of Greece.

Vardalos actually appeared very calm and serene as she walked around town in Antiparos and shopped with her 11-year-old daughter, Illaria.

The Blast broke the story, the star of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" filed for divorce after over 20 years of marriage to actor Ian Gomez. Vardalos said the two have been separated since June 2017, and told us, "Our relationship became a friendship so the decision to end the marriage is completely mutual and amicable."
