Robert Kraft — the billionaire owner of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots — was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution at a day spa in Florida after police observed multiple graphic sex acts committed inside a popular massage parlor.
Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr announced that Kraft is being charged with soliciting another to commit prostitution. The charges against Kraft are based on two separate visits to the spa.
Police say they have yet to make contact with Kraft, but he denied the allegations in a statement through his spokesperson: “We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.”
The Blast obtained the report from Jupiter Police gathered by investigators during the investigation of the massage parlors that were allegedly facilitating the prostitution.
According to the report, a surveillance operation of the Orchids of Asia Day Spa began on November 6, 2018. On the first day of surveillance, officers observed only male clients entering the facility.
The report states, “During the course of the covert surveillance operation, criminal charges were developed for approximately 26 male customers who paid money to Hua Zhang, the president of the corporation for the business known as Orchids of Asia Day Spa or Lei Wang, the self-admitted manager of Orchids of Asia Day Spa or other employees to perform sexual acts on them, thus committing crimes of prostitution.”
The report states that on January 15, 2019, a search warrant was obtained for the authorization of the monitoring and recording of visual, non-audio conduct in the spa.
In the report, several instances of sexual acts, which were observed on the surveillance cameras, were described. One such incident was described as follows:
January 18th, Male, gray hair, blue shirt, blue jean shorts.
At approximately 1634 hrs, Male 3 entered the business, approached the front desk and paid an Asian female, previously identified as Hua Zhang. Male 3 handed Zhang a $100 bill.
Zhang escorted Male 3 to a room, designated as JPPD Cam 2. Male 3 completely undressed and laid face down on the table. A second Asian female, who wore a pink shirt with black stripes and black capri pants, entered the room and began massaging Male 3. Male 3 flipped over and the female began manually manipulating his penis. This went on for several minutes. After a few minutes, the female wiped the male in the area of his genitals with a white towel. Afterwards, Male 3 began to get dressed and handed the female cash.
Investigators also observed multiple customers performing sex acts on the female employees, and in one instance described: “She then took her pants off, and then Male 2 put his left hand in between her legs and manually manipulated her genitals … The Asian female began kissing Male 2 while still manipulating his genitals … She then put his right hand down by her genitals and began manipulating her genitals while she manipulated Male 2s genitals … to the point of ejaculation.”
The report explains that investigators performed multiple “trash pulls” at the massage parlor, which led to the discovery of napkins covered in a wet substance that later tested positive for semen.
The investigation also included putting a location tracker on the owner of the massage parlor’s vehicle.
The NFL said in a statement, “The NFL is aware of the ongoing law enforcement matter and will continue to monitor developments.”
President Donald Trump was asked about the charge, and said the situation was very “sad” and he was “surprised.”
Kraft is one of 26 men who were charged in an investigation into human trafficking. The alleged acts were reportedly all caught on surveillance video. Kraft is not listed by name in the report, but police have named him as among the group that was investigated and caught on tape.
Solicitation of prostitution in Florida is a misdemeanor with a potential punishment of 60 days jail time.
The news comes just a few weeks after Robert Kraft’s Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl and a few days after Kraft appeared at the NBA All-Star Game.
