Dixie Chicks star Natalie Maines is trying to block her soon-to-be ex-husband from getting his hands on financial records relating to her iconic band.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the singer is pleading for a judge to quash two subpoenas that Adrian Pasdar fired off to SRMGT LLC (which is the Dixie Chicks’ former manager, Simon Renshaw) and LBI Entertainment (her new management company after Renshaw retired).

Pasdar recently sent subpoenas demanding Maines' managers hand over all business records, contracts, financial information regarding money made from 2017 until now.

Maines accuses her ex of trying to use discovery in the divorce to gain access to her private financial records. She says he is using this as a "blunt weapon" against her and calls his behavior "oppressive and is intended to harass."

The singer wants him sanctioned to the tune of $5,000.

Maines filed for divorce from Pasdar in 2017 following 17 years of marriage. They share two kids.

The divorce had been dragging on for some time, until recently, when things heated up. Pasdar has been demanding tens of thousands in support per month and Maines has been fighting him.

The case is still ongoing.
